1. The purchase price of a raffle ticket is $20. Checks or money orders should be made out to WMR. Cash, Check, Money Order, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted. The IRS has declared that raffle purchases for valuable prizes are not tax-deductible contributions.

2. Ticket purchases are available in the following ways: Online at www.wmranch.org  for $22.00 each, in person for $20 each at various locations including but not limited to PetSmart, 10248 Coors Bypass NW, Albuquerque (WMR staff at feline adoption desk from 12 pm-4 pm Mon-Sat), PetSmart, 350 Eubank Blvd, Albuquerque, NM (WMR staff in the Adoption Center), Watermelon Mountain Ranch 10am-4pm Wed-Sun, by phone 10am-4pm Mon-Fri with Credit or Debit Card - call (505) 771-0140.

3. In the event an entrant's check or credit card is dishonored by the bank or credit card company, the entry is declared invalid and withdrawn from the drawing until replacement funds are received.

4. Entrants must be 18 years or older and have a valid Social Security Number to purchase a raffle ticket and be included in the drawing (proof of Social Security Number must be provided by winner upon claiming prize).

5. Tickets may be purchased in the name of one individual only, no groups or companies.

6. All completed tickets must be received with full payment prior to the actual drawing.

7. Prize: A Harley-Davidson motorcycle worth no less than $13,000 OR a $10,000 voucher good for merchandise at Thunderbird Harley-Davidson in Albuquerque, NM.

8. Drawing: The prize will be awarded through a random drawing to be held on November 6, 2010. The drawing will be held during Watermelon Mountain Ranch's Fur Ball event at the El Pinto Restaurant 10500 4th Street Northwest, Albuquerque, NM 87114. Time and location within the restaurant will be posted at www.wmranch.org.

9. Prize Winner: The winner need not be present to win. The winner will be notified via phone and mail within 2 days of the drawing. Winner's name and winning ticket number will also be posted for 15 days on the Watermelon Mountain Ranch web site at www.wmranch.org after the drawing is held. A copy of these rules and winners name and ticket number may be requested by sending a self-addressed envelope to Watermelon Mountain Ranch, 1512 Deborah Rd SE #203, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

10. After the winning ticket is pulled, ten additional tickets will be pulled, their numbers announced and then sealed in signed and witnessed envelopes, labeled #2, #3, etc.  These ticket buyers will be in line to receive the prize in accordance with paragraph 11.

11. The prize must be claimed no later than 4 pm on 15th calendar day from the date of the actual drawing. If the prize is not claimed by that date or if the winner declines acceptance of these terms, this will constitute a forfeiture of the prize and the buyer of the second ticket drawn will be notified that they are the winner. All subsequent prize forfeitures that may occur will be handled in this same manner.

12. The prize winner is solely responsible for any and all local, state, federal taxes and state registration. The Internal Revenue Service requires that any prizes valued of $600 or more, the winner must be issued a W-2G Form. Winner must provide proof of SSN. For a $13,000 prize, an estimated $3,250 (25% of the value) federal withholding tax will be required from the winner upon claiming the prize.

13. Watermelon Mountain Ranch is not responsible for any express or implied warranties regarding this prize. All terms, conditions and warranties of the motorcycle are between the winner and Thunderbird Harley-Davidson as laid out in their warranty.

14. Watermelon Mountain Ranch, and Thunderbird Harley-Davidson assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or entries without complete payment which will be deemed invalid and disqualified.

15. Board members and employees of Watermelon Mountain Ranch, employees and agents of Thunderbird Harley-Davidson and immediate family members of any of the above are not eligible to participate in this drawing and any tickets purchased by such will be void.

16. The prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that he/she is receiving a prize and will hereby release and discharge Watermelon Mountain Ranch and Thunderbird Harley-Davidson and any additional sponsors, their employees, agents, officers, directors, and legal representatives and assigns from and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such a prize including, but not limited to, the payment of any and all taxes that are due.

17. The purchase of a raffle ticket constitutes the buyer's acceptance of all rules and laws governing this raffle as outlined herein.

18. The decisions of Watermelon Mountain Ranch are final on all matters concerning the raffle.

19. Void where prohibited. If the winning ticket is determined to have been bought in a state that prohibits participation in this raffle, the purchase price of that ticket only will be refunded to the purchaser.
