Where to Meet Our Dogs

The Watermelon Mountain Ranch is our primary adoption location. Some of our smaller and medium-sized dogs are also available to meet at our PetSmart Cottonwood Adoption Center on Saturday mornings. Please check each dog’s profile for their current location before planning your visit.

We are located in northern Rio Rancho, so please allow plenty of time for your visit.

Adoptions and Ranch tours: Wednesday–Sunday, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.

We recommend arriving by 2 p.m. so you have plenty of time to meet and socialize with the animals before adoptions and tours end at 3 p.m. Dogs listed as being in the Lower Kennels, Dog Intake, or Dog Cottage are located at our Main Ranch.

Foster Dogs

Some of our dogs are enjoying life in foster homes while waiting for their forever families. Because these dogs are not at the Ranch, an appointment is required to arrange a meet-and-greet.
