2. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and share our posts, photos and videos on your blog or social networking accounts.
 

3. Follow our Pets of the Week on 100.3 The PEAK, 96.3 Newsradio KKOB, and other local TV appearances. 

HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR THE ANIMALS
4. Make a special one-time gift or support the animals all year round with an automatic recurring monthly gift.


5. Make a memorial gift in honor of a friend or animal companion, or donate a personalized brick in the Memorial Brick Walkway.
 

6. Ensure WMR is eligible for giving programs at your workplace and explore matching gifts from your employer. 


7. Donate your used vehicle to benefit WMR.

 

8. Include WMR as a beneficiary in your will.

9. Shop our Amazon Wish List and donate directly to the animals.

10. Shop and donate to our Going to the Dogs (and Cats) resale shops (Bernalillo and Cottonwood Mall) for fabulous finds on clothing, home décor, pet accessories and more.

 

GET ACTIVE
11. Download the WoofTrax app, choose WMR as your charity, log your activity every time you walk your dog and WoofTrax will make a donation to WMR!

12. Attend the annual spring Fashion & Compassion Show 

​

13. Attend the annual fall Fur Ball, create your own fundraising website, bid and buy items in the online silent auction. 

​

14. Provide for your pets' future in case you can't care for them through our Perpetual Care Program.

​

15. Volunteer with us by helping at an event, socializing the Ranch or Cottonwood Adoption Center pets, office tasks or many other ways.

​

16. Become a foster family and temporarily provide a loving home for an animal in transition.

In-Kind Donations
to the Ranch and Resale Shops


Watermelon's two resale shops, Going to the Dogs (and Cats) are always accepting in-kind donations. We can even pick up your large items. Visit our shop page for details!

The Ranch is always in need of in-kind donations. Below is our current Wish List, which you can drop off at the Ranch Wed-Sun, 11-4pm.​

  • Working washer and dryer (please contact us first, we will come out to you!)

  • Dog and cat food

  • Food containers/storage containers

  • Non-clumping cat litter

  • Stainless steel pet food bowls

  • Collars, leashes, toys

  • Pet grooming equipment

  • Dog and cat carriers

  • Dog and cat Beds

  • Cleaning Supplies: Bleach, paper towels, laundry detergent,

  • Fabuloso, brooms/dustpans, large trash bags
