CAT SPAY & NEUTER

PRICING: 

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: $40

  • Male cats - $75

  • Female cats - $85

  • Female cats (in heat)- $100

  • *Non-refundable $25 deposit required, which will be applied to the cost of the surgery

ADDITIONAL FEES

Fees apply for the following conditions and will be based upon the size of the animal:

  • Abdominal cryptorchid in males (failure of one or both testes to descend)

  • Umbilical Hernia

  • In heat (WMR does not routinely operate on animals in heat) or pregnant (DOGS only)- Minimum of $50, Maximum of $100 additional fees

REQUIREMENTS

  • Age: No younger than 4 months of age, no older than five years of age

  • Vaccinations: Must be current and be able to provide records.

    • Kittens (under the age of 6 months) must have 3 FVRCP shots prior to surgery. These shots are a minimum of 2 weeks apart and no more than 6 weeks apart

    • Cats (6 months to 1 year old) must have 2 FVRCP shots prior to surgery. These shots are a minimum of 2 weeks apart and no more than 6 weeks apart.

    • Cats (1 year to 1.5 years old) must have 1 FVRCP shot prior to surgery. Booster shot to be given at time of surgery. The booster shot to be given a minimum of 2 weeks after initial vaccination but no more than 6 weeks after initial vaccination.

    • Cats (over the age of 1.5 year) vaccination can be given at time of surgery.

    • Rabies Vaccinations can be done at time of surgery

  • Limitations: WE DO NOT spay/neuter cats over 5 years of age or those that are aggressive or feral
