4 Paws Chapel &
Angels' Rest Memorial Garden
One of the hardest things to endure is when your loyal companion goes over the rainbow bridge. It is a heartbreaking time.
The 4 Paws Chapel and Angels Rest Memorial Garden will be a place you can bring the ashes of your loved ones and put in the chapel or spread in the memorial gardens. It is our goal to have a place that will bring comfort to you when grieving. We invite you to be a part of this exciting project.
Karen Glaser Walker Memorial Fund
The Watermelon Mountain Ranch family is mourning the loss of, and celebrating the life of one of its biggest supporters, Karen Glaser Walker. Karen was a loyal volunteer with WMR for many, many years. She loved to help at our events and especially loved the annual Fur Ball. Karen loved animal rescue and fostered and adopted many dogs that came through WMR, sometimes caring for eight or nine pups at a time.
“Watermelon held a special place in Karen’s heart,” said her sister, Janice. “She loved being involved with the animals and working on fundraising projects for the Ranch.”
Karen had a particular interest in Molly’s Mercy Missions and felt it was so important to save the animals from the worst environments, including those on euthanasia lists. In honor of our dear friend, we have established the Karen Glaser Walker Memorial Fund to support Molly's Mercy Missions. For anyone wishing to make a donation in Karen's honor, please click here.
On behalf of her family, we thank you for honoring Karen this way, in support of the animals she loved so deeply.

"I want you to know she is in the best place in the world. The very first night she slept with my parents in the bed right next to my mom, and ever since. Again, thank you so much for all you do, and did for my family!!!"

"I just wanted to say thank you for introducing us to Janey we love her already and she has been so sweet with my son so far. During the meeting at the shelter she was going back and forth with all the other cats there she seemed guarded, but the moment we brought her home she was a happy loving cat that has been following me and watching my son. I missed having a cat and look forward to many memories with Janey."

“WMR, thanks for the refund but as I told the girl, I'm good with you keeping it. You have so many furbabies to care for and besides Jenny is worth the little extra. I so love my little girl. Thanks for saving her and her little family and also for giving me the chance to adopt her. You have a great team! All have been so nice and also helpful. It's easy to see you care for the furkids and you enjoy what you do. AWESOME! ! For them "Thank You"!!
